13th Annual Record-A-Thon for the Santa Barbara Unit of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D). Monday through Friday, April 28 through May 3 from 9 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, May 3 from 9 am to 12 noon, RFB&D is looking for volunteers to read educational and consumer books for its national library. It is also seeking sponsors to underwrite parts of the multi-leveled Record-A-Thon. Please visit www.rfbd.org/sb/ or call 681-0531. This will generate more books for the National RFB&D Library for use by visually impaired and learning disabled students from kindergarten through graduate school; to recruit more volunteer readers; to raise operating revenue for the Unit’s book production and educational outreach programs.
