Whisper [:-*] is the theater too loud?

Besides the 25 min of trailers and advertisments we got to sit thought. does anyone think the sound level at the edwards theater is too loud? Ive seen small children cry and have to leave during a G rated film. I personally am at the ready with cotton or fingers ear plugs for the brain bleeding parts. Ive decided not to got there again. speaking with the manager about the subject swears it not loud enought ( as he picks a pimple). I did read somewear that anything over 110 decables for 10 min. causes hearing loss. after the movie  "What I didnt hear that" was all that was said.

YES!  Too loud and too cold!  I love going to the movies, but I feel like I have to dress for a blizzard to be comfortable in there!

If you look around, most people are wrapped up like they're watching a movie outside in Minnesota in December!   Most of the time everyone in the theater is FREEZING!

I don't know if the movies are too loud, but the people around us usually are - folks this isn't your livingroom!   Those around you also paid to see the movie.    They deserve to see it in peace.

The manager is super close to retiring and doesn't have pimples... just wrinkles.  I don't know who you talked to but they weren't the manager.  It is loud and it is cold but it also depends on which theater you are it. If you go see a new release, like Shrek 3 or Spiderman 3 or something then they have it colder because there are usually too many bodies in there.  And for everyone complaining it's too loud and too cold there just as many complaining that it's too hot or not loud enough. I've had a conversation about this at length with someone that works there...  They can't do anything. It's set the way Regal Entertianment tells them to set it. Not the way the employees set it.

I dont think it too loud.....I love the intensity it brings to the screen.  Guess the times I went it was most comfortable.  Sound, tempature, snacks......
